Contractors

The call that comes after nine.

A homeowner finds you at 9:04 PM. They need a roof estimate or an HVAC checkup, and they are deciding tonight. Built right, the site texts you while they are still reading it, instead of dropping an email you open on Monday. A three day old lead is somebody else's job.

Three things that kill contractor sites.

Built in 2016
Somebody's nephew built it once.

Nobody has touched it since. The CMS is outdated, the mobile view is broken, and the words do not match what you do now. It looks like you got stuck ten years ago.

Phone in image
Your number is baked into a screenshot.

A homeowner on mobile cannot tap it. They have to type it from memory or abandon the call.

Form to inbox
Lead goes into an inbox that nobody opens until Monday.

The homeowner has already called three other contractors. Your site collected their information but did not collect the sale.

The lead that got away.

Here is a homeowner in need. The clock ticks from 9 PM through the next morning. On the left, they hit a site with no system. On the right, they hit a site that catches and holds the lead. Drag the slider to watch what happens to each one at every moment.

What gets built.

Real tel link
A phone number in the header that works on mobile.

Tap it and the homeowner calls straight from the phone. No typing, no leaving the site. You answer that night.

Instant text
A request form that texts you the lead within seconds.

Not email. Text. You see it the moment it comes in, not the moment you check your inbox.

After hours auto reply
A response to the homeowner that holds the lead overnight.

While you sleep, they get a text saying you will call first thing. That text also gives them a time window and something to do in the meantime.

Trade pages
A site structured so Google knows what work you do.

Separate pages for roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, remodeling. Not one generic contractor page. Search engines and the homeowner can both tell you apart from the guy down the street.

Review request automation
A workflow that asks for a review when the job closes.

Not a random email. A request at the moment the client is happiest. Reviews come in on their own, not from you begging.

Calendar booking
A scheduling link on the site so the homeowner can pick the appointment slot.

One fewer phone call, one fewer back-and-forth. The appointment lands on your calendar and theirs at the same moment.

The real objection.

You say

I get all my work from word of mouth. I do not need a website.

That referral still looks you up before they call. They Google your name or type it in while they are sitting at the kitchen table trying to decide who to trust. The site is not there to replace the referral. It is there to stop the referral from leaking to whoever looks more established. You cannot stop them comparing you against three other sites they found on the way. You can make sure yours is the one they call.

How it runs.

01. Build

The site is built to move leads.

Not to win design awards. Every button and form exists because it catches a lead that would otherwise slip away. Copy, layout, and automation all serve that one job.

02. Launch

We configure the workflows and integrations.

Connect the request form to your phone via text, wire up the after-hours auto reply, set up the review request trigger, and point the calendar booking at your schedule. You do not touch any of this. We build it and you get a walkthrough.

03. Optimize

We watch the leads come in and refine the copy.

After a month you can see which pages people land on and which ones they leave. We rewrite the weak ones, test different hooks, and make the site better at catching the lead that matters.

04. Own it

The site stays yours. You own the leads.

We handle the hosting and the care plan so the site never goes down. But every lead that comes through it is your lead. You own the customer. No middleman. No gatekeeping.

Questions we hear.

Do I have to change my phone number?

No. We use the number you have now.

The site shows the number you already answer. The text integration connects to the phone you already use. Nothing changes on your end except you start getting leads by text instead of waiting for emails you might miss.

What if I do not want to answer at nine PM?

You can set business hours and route after-hours leads to a queue.

The homeowner still gets a text back that night saying you will call by 9 AM. They know somebody read it and when to expect you. You call during your hours, not theirs. You do not have to answer the phone at midnight because the lead is already on your list.

Who writes the words on the site?

We do. We write the copy for every page.

We do not use templates. We interview you about the jobs you close best, the kinds of customers you want to work with, and the problems you solve. Then we write copy that talks to those customers in language they use, not jargon they do not.

How long does it take to build?

We plan for three to four weeks from kickoff to launch.

Week one is the interview and research. Weeks two and three are build and copywriting. Week four is revisions and the workflow setup. If you need it faster, we can move it. If you need to move slower, we can do that too.

What about photos of the work?

We recommend you have them. You can use what you have already taken.

If your phone is full of before and afters, great. Those work best on service pages because the homeowner can see what good work looks like. If you need professional photos, that is a separate scope we can talk through. But you do not have to wait for a photoshoot. We can launch with what you have and swap them in later.

Stop losing the referrals.

A referral still looks you up. Make sure they find a site that closes the sale instead of sending them to a competitor who looks more professional.

Most projects start with a conversation.
