The feed keeps running.

Most businesses post three times in one week and then go quiet for two months. The feed is not a place to dump the same graphic five times. Each platform rewards a different shape of post, so the same idea gets written five different ways. We write it, we make it, we post it on a schedule, and you get the report.

One idea, five ways.

Here is a small shop with one thing to announce. Tap a platform and watch the whole post rebuild itself: the picture changes shape, the first line changes job, the caption gets longer or shorter, the tags appear or vanish, the link moves. The panel beside it names every change and the reason that platform demands it. This is the part almost nobody does, and it is the difference between posting and being read.

Sundays are ours now.

We spent three years closed on the one day most of you are free. That ends this weekend. Doors open at nine, the good coffee is on, and the back room is finally set up for people who want to sit a while. Come see what we did with it.

What changed, and why

Instagram is a picture people scroll past in half a second.

Hook

Short and warm. The image carries the message, so the first line only has to earn the tap on More.

Length

Medium. Long enough to have a voice, short enough that the whole thing fits before anyone gives up.

Hashtags

A tight block at the end. They are how strangers find a small local account, not decoration in the middle of a sentence.

Link
Image

Tall portrait. It takes up more of the screen than a square, which buys another second of attention.

Why this platform forces it

The feed is visual and endless. Nothing you write matters if the picture does not stop the thumb, so the picture gets designed first and the words get written to fit it.

Harbor Lane is made up. The point is the shape of each post, not the shop.

What this isn't and why it matters.

vs Blog & Content The long game

Content is written for someone searching months from now. Social is written for someone scrolling right now. They feed each other: a post becomes five, a week of posts becomes a post. Visit Blog & Content.

vs Copywriting The words that sell

Copywriting is the voice and the argument on the pages people buy from. Social borrows that voice and puts it somewhere the buyer already is. Visit Copywriting.

vs Ads Paid reach

Ads rent attention and stop the moment the card does. Posting builds an account people already follow, so the next announcement costs nothing to deliver.

How it runs, in practice.

A month at a time

Posts are planned and written in batches, then approved before anything goes out. Nobody is staring at a blank box at eight at night wondering what to say.

Written per platform

Never one caption copied five times. The device above is the working method, not a demo. Same idea, reshaped so each feed reads it as native.

Reported, not guessed

Each month you get what went out, what people did with it, and what we are changing next month because of it.

How it ships, the four steps.

Step 1

Voice

We take the way you already talk to customers and write it down: what you say, what you never say, the jokes that land, the words your industry uses.

Step 2

Plan

A month of ideas mapped to what is happening in the business. Openings, offers, seasons, hires, the things you keep telling people one at a time.

Step 3

Produce

Captions written per platform, graphics or photos built to the right shape, everything in one place for you to read and approve.

Step 4

Post & report

Scheduled and published on the days that suit each platform. At month end you see what ran and what it did.

Questions worth asking first.

Question

Do we have to be on all five?

No, and most businesses should not be. Two done properly beat five done thinly. We pick the ones where your buyers already are and put the effort there. The other accounts can sit dormant or get a light repost.

Question

Where do the photos come from?

Yours first. A real photo of your shop, your team, your work beats anything bought from a stock library, and people can tell the difference instantly. When there is nothing to shoot we design the graphic. We will also tell you what to photograph on your phone so the well never runs dry.

Question

Who replies to comments?

Decide that up front. We can hand you a short reply guide and let your team answer, or take the routine ones and pass anything that needs you. What does not work is nobody answering, because an unanswered comment reads as a closed business.

Question

Will this bring us sales?

Not on its own, and anyone promising that is selling you something. Posting keeps you in front of people who already know you and gives the ones checking you out a reason to trust what they find. The selling happens on the site, the call and the follow-up.

Question

How much do we have to be involved?

An hour or so a month. One call to talk about what is coming, then a pass over the drafts. Everything else is on us. If you want to be more involved, send voice notes and we turn them into posts.

You have plenty to say. Nobody has time to post it.

Bring the business and a rough sense of who you are talking to. We will handle the voice, the plan, the posts and the calendar.

Written per platform. Posted on schedule. Reported every month.
